About Us

Bartlesville Education Promise is a non-profit corporation managed by 11 civic leaders and chaired by Martin Garber. The Bartlesville Education Promise was created to guide our community towards assuming greater ownership for improving educational outcomes for all students in our schools, with special focus on improving graduation rates and readiness for higher education, technical school or full-time employment. Working with the schools, this involves special attention in identifying and helping students who are struggling and are at risk of dropping out of school before graduation. Based on work with the schools, we identify unmet needs, develop appropriate programs and fund these with contributions from individuals, corporations, civic clubs and foundations.

“The BEP was founded on the premise we will provide funding for a three-year program to assist the schools, challenge students, and assist the schools to improve the graduation rates,” said Martin Garber.
